Zimbabwe men’s national cricket head coach Dave Houghton has spoken to the media on the eve of the team’s departure for the T20 World Cup in Australia.

He said he had made sure to manage the training before the tournament so as not to bore the players, leaving them hungry to play.

Houghton also commented on the readiness of his senior players who have just returned from injury, saying they would be ready and did not need too much time to prepare.

On his hopes, he said he would be disappointed if his side did not make it to the Super 12. They play the first round with the West Indies, Ireland and Scotland.
