WATCH: Chris Mpofu confirms retirement from international cricket

Chris Mpofu may have been rolling back the years but the speed bowler has ruled out a return to international colours.

He has been in brilliant domestic form this season and murmurs have been going around that he should be called back for Zimbabwe.

Given Mpofu had not officially retired from international cricket, he was asked if he would make the return if called upon.

“I wouldn’t come. There is absolutely no pressure. I think I would say no,” Mpofu said.

When pressed if he had retired from international cricket, Mpofu said, “Yeah, definitely.”

Well he said ‘I think’, so there may be some convincing if they really fancied him.
