Zimbabwe’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) are gathering some steam.
And so here are some updates.
Prince Dube
Prince Dube had not been set to be included in the 40-man squad but after his start and having scored for Azam in Tanzania, the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) is trying to have him registered.
Khama Billiat
Very little movement in terms of news when it comes to this one. Khama Billiat retired from international football a few weeks ago, and indications had been that Zifa would attempt to get him to change his mind.
Knowledge Musona
Captain Knowledge Musona will meet up with the squad in Cameroon, meaning he will not make camp in Zimbabwe.
Jordan Zemura
AFC Bournemouth coach Scott Parker said should Jordan Zemura be fit, he expects the left back to make it for Afcon.
Other news
Zimbabwe are expected to go into camp on 23 December 2021.
