Zimbabwe have had to travel for the Cosafa Cup 2021 without three players who have had to pull out due to injuries and illness.
Zifa confirmed the news, saying, “Evans Rusike has been ruled out of the 2021 COSAFA Cup due to a torn Achilles tendon suffered at training. Also ruled out on medical grounds are Perfect Chikwende & Godknows Murwira Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
Delic Murimba has been drafted in upfront.
Ovidy Karuru captains the side which left for South Africa on Monday morning.
