Defending champions Tuskers hammered their way into the Zimbabwe Domestic T20 Competition final with a 78-run victory over hapless Rhinos at Old Hararians on Thursday.
It means they will face Eagles on Friday afternoon.
Brian Chari was the star of the show, scoring 89 off 46 balls. That included three fours and whopping 10 sixes.
Craig Ervine followed up his big hundred on Wednesday with 51 off just 29 balls which had four fours and as many sixes.
Their scores combined would have been enough to win the match. Contributions did come from Bright Phiri with 25 and Sean Williams unbeaten with 24.
A mammoth 215 for the loss of five wickets was put on the board.
Tashinga Musekiwa took two for 26, Ryan Burl one for 19, Chris Mpofu one for 23 and Carl Mumba one for 44.
Brendan Taylor was out leg before for the second time in the tournament on 43 off 24 balls this time to Thabani Mboyi. He had cracked six fours and two sixes in a chase that never really got going.
Only Nyasha Mayavo (30) and Carl Mumba (23) scored anything off significance as Rhinos were bowled out for 137 in 16.3 overs.
Mboyi took three for 13, Tanatswa Bechani two for 21, Luke Jongwe one for 20, Ainsley Ndlovu one for 24 and Charlton Tshuma one for 25.
The final at Old Hararians pits two of the biggest hitters in the competition and will come after a third and fourth playoff in the morning between Mountaineers and Rocks.
