Well it not as dramatic as we made it sound.

Taibu will turn out for Hightown St Mary’s in the MI Dental Liverpool Competition this season.

Taibu was snapped up after Hughtown’s Nick Gordon made a call for cricket players. Taibu threw his hat in the ring and Gordon was surprised to find interested from a former player.

The 32 year-old represented Zimbabwe in 28 tests and 150 one day internationals. At the age 2o  he became the youngest test captain in history in 2004. He had one century and 12 50s.
