The advice of the Sports and Recreation Commission seems to have been on the right after a suicide bomber killed two people during the second one day international between Pakistan and Zimbabwe in Lahore.
The SRC had strongly advised against the tour for security reasons and only last-ditch hardcore negotiations allowed the tour to go on.
The blast happened about a mile from the venue and police claim it was an accidental blast. This is even after a minister said that brave police had stopped the bomber.
News of the blast was kept off the radar with a media blackout until after the Friday match.
4,000 police details are guarding venues and a further 2,000 are on the route from the hotel to the stadium.
Zimbabwe has lost all four matches on the tour so far.
