He is one of 19 current or former players to ply their trade in South Africa’s top division.

Musona who is in South Africa for the Cosafa Cup before leading his charges to the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt, was quoted in Sunday World saying:

I believe it is the strongest league in Africa. It develops players from Zimbabwe and gives them the opportunity to showcase themselves in Africa. Some of them are in clubs that are playing in the Champions League.

With us qualifying and topping a group that included DR Congo‚ and playing with the players from South Africa‚ it shows the PSL is a strong league with quality.

Musona played for giants Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa. He is now at Belgian top side Anderlecht although it is believed he could be seeking a move after Afcon.
