The preseason match between Dynamos and Caps United looks to be off after Rufaro Stadium’s continued struggle to get homologated.
The Mayor’s Charity Cup was supposed to mark the return of the iconic stadium to use.
Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume said, however, that the match was in limbo after the late availability of the Zimbabwe Football Association’s inspection board.
The board is now only able to do so on Saturday, meaning any approval will be too late for Sunday.
Dynamos have already made alternative plans for Sunday as they gear up for the upcoming season.
Mafume says that if the approval does not happen on time, they will find a date during the season for the tie.
