Zimbabwe T20 captain Sikandar Raza has lodged a complaint against Rainbow Cricket Club coach Blessing Mafuva over alleged racist conduct during a Harare Metropolitan Cricket Association (HMCA) Vigne Cup at Old Hararians Sports Club on 1 June 2025.

Raza, turning out for Old Hararians, says, “While I was leaving the field due to muscle tightness, Mafuva screamed and shouted at me.

“Despite my pleas for him to speak respectfully, he continued to abuse me. What hurt the most was when he said, ‘I can say whatever I want, I have a Zimbabwean passport, not a Pakistani passport like Raza. This is my land, not Pakistan.”

Raza proceeded to lodge a complaint with the league.

HMCA chairperson Tafadzwa Madoro told 3-mob.com that the Mafuva has been suspended pending a hearing this Tuesday.
