Peter is now out of danger. He is talking freely, but his injuries remain serious, what is important though is that he is stable. I can tell you that those rumours [0f his death] are not true. He is ok, but in pain.

You can read their full story here.

There have been rumours of his death doing the rounds in the last hour but they appear to be unfounded.

Peter Ndlovu is in Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo being treated for injuries he received from a horror crash which claimed his brother Adam and unidentified woman.

The former Zimbabwe international striker is said to be out of a coma and talking but has sustained broken ribs and legs. He asked after his brother but that information has been understandably withheld from him. He said that he fell asleep at the wheel due to exhaustion. His condition remains critical,

At this moment Madinda the oldest of the brothers is said to be on his way from Botswana.

There is also news that the family is considering moving Peter to South Africa for treatment but this is dependent on the advice of local doctors.

The nation is holding its breath over Peter while mourning the passing of Adam. International newspapers especially in the UK have published articles on Peter and his former teams Coventry City, Sheffield United and Birmingham City have released statements wishing him well.

We will keep you updated as soon as we hear anything.
