Southern Rocks bowler Patrick Mambo has decided to call time on his cricketing career.
Mambo revealed the news on his social media account, bring an end to his adventure at the age of 25.
The bowler says he has a received an opportunity outside cricket as a data analyst in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry.
Mambo played four seasons in Zimbabwe and most recently won the Logan Cup with Southern Rocks last season. He also picked up the Pro50 Championship with Eagles.
All in all, he played eight First Class matches, taking 11 wickets. In List A matches he took 19 wickets in 17 matches. In T20s he took 5 wickets in 10 matches.
He got married and his wife gave birth in recent times as well.
