Pasuwa names provisional side for AFCON qualifier

Zimbabwe are already through to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Gabon next year but there is the small matter of the final group match against Guinea  on 4 September at Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.

Coach Kalito Pasuwa has named his provisional side which retains most of the players he has called up save for the suspended Hardlive Zvirekwi and the rested Khama Billiat.

Said Pasuwa to talking to the ZIFA webiste:

This match is still important to the team because we are going to use it as a yardstick to measure our progress as a unit and our preparedness for the Gabon AFCON finals. That is why only Khama Billiat, whom we thought might have fatigue issues is the only regular player intentionally left out of the squad. We want to maintain our unbeaten record also.

Team manager, Shariff Mussa said players are expected to arrive for camp on the 28th of August.

Below is the full squad. Do you think they will do the job?
