Pasuwa Names Katsande As Captain; Bad News On Mushekwi

Zimbabwe coach Kalisto Pasuwa has named Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande as his captain for the match against Malawi this weekend.

Zimbabwe take on the Flames in an African Cup of Nations tie this weekend in Malawi.

17 of the 19 players called up on Tuesday joined camp today. These are Bernard Donovan, Tatenda Mkuruva, Blessing Moyo, Partson Jaure, Eric Chipeta, Teenage Hadebe, Justin Jangano, Ronald Pfumbidzai, Danny Phiri, Willard Katsande, Gerald Takwara, Wisdom Mtasa, Khama Billiat, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Marvelous Nakamba, Knowledge Musona and Cuthbert Malajila

In-form striker Nyasha Mushekwi is reportedly injured.

Preparations for this match have been hampered by late squad announcement amid reports coach Pasuwa had not been paid since he took over (well he got $100) among other issues.
