Official: Zimbabwe to host Nigeria in Rwanda

As reported a few weeks ago, football is not quite returning to Zimbabwe at an international level.

Zimbabwe will play their first ‘home’ match since they were kicked out of the world football family in Rwanda.

That is when they take African giants Nigeria in a Fifa World Cup 2026 Qualifier on 19th November, after they take on Rwanda on 15th November.

It will happen at the Huye stadium in the city of Butare.

Zimbabwe has no stadium capable of hosting international matches.
