NPL start delayed by a week

A day after the announcement of the second season of the National Premier League (NPL), Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced that it has been pushed back by a week.

It was meant to start this weekend with 10 clubs playing matches in five cities.

ZC said in a statement, “Zimbabwe Cricket regrets to announce the postponement of the National Premier League (NPL) by a week due to unforeseen logistical challenges.”

The revised NPL fixtures will be released in due course.
