No IPL for Zim viewers as SuperSport misses out on rights for the first time

~~It is bad news for Zimbabwean lovers of the Indian Premier League (IPL).~~

~~Fans will not be able to catch Sikandar Raza’s debut in the biggest cricket league in the world after continental broadcaster SuperSport missed out on rights for the first time.~~

They said as much in a statement, which read, “𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓: SuperSport previously held broadcast rights to the IPL. Discussions with the rights holder have unfortunately been unsuccessful and SuperSport will therefore not broadcast the IPL as of this year’s edition.”
