Nigeria in Zimbabwe as part of preps for T20 World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria will use Zimbabwe as training base for their preparations ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 set for Namibia.

We are reliably informed that the West African side will be in Kwekwe where they will play a couple of matches as they hone skills for the tournament.

The team left Lagos on Friday.

They become the second side to take advantage of Zimbabwe’s facilities. Uganda are already in Zimbabwe and on Wednesday played against Takashinga in the first of six matches.
