Zimbabwe pace duo Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani have missed out on the IPL Auction 2024 after it took place on Tuesday.
The two had been hoping for debuts but went unsold.
This means that T20 captain Sikandar Raza is the only Zimbabwean who will be in the prestigious league which kicks off in March. He was retained by the Punjab Kings after his relative success last season.
Meanwhile, Australian speedster Mitchell Starc became the most expensive draft in IPL history after he went for USD29.98m. An hour before, Pat Cummins had smashed the previous record after going for USD2.4m.
