Neshamba to captain Zimbabwe at Cosafa Women’s Championship

Forward Rudo Neshamba has been named captain for Zimbabwe in the upcoming Cosafa Women’s Championship which kicks off this week in South Africa.

The news was confirmed by head coach Shadreck Mlauzi.

Goalkeeper Chido Dzingirai and left-back Nobukhosi Ncube will be the vice-captains.

It is a remarkable return for Neshamba, who give years ago almost quit football due to a career-threatening injury.
