Nakamba’s cross, converted into his own net in spectacular fashion by Sergion Reguilion, was the equaliser after the hosts took lead through Steven Bergwijn. Nakamba’s assist will be fine for Premier League Fantasy football but in the real world, own goals do not come with assists.

Ollie Watkins got the winner in the 39th minute, although Villa could have scored a lot more.

Nakamba played 89 minutes, before he was replaced by Carney Chukwuemeka.

The match was the first at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where fans attended, since before the pandemic began.
