Nakamba out of Norwich tie with injury

Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba may be about to have spell on the side because of injury and will miss Aston Villa’s Premier League tie against Norwich.

“He has had an MRI scan which has shown a knee issue so he will be missing this side of Christmas for sure and he will see a specialist on Tuesday, and we will have a further update then,” said Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard of Nakamba.

The news will come as a blow for Villa after the midfielder put through some strong performances for Villa.

There is also fear for Zimbabwe who will be looking to Nakamba for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in January 2022.
