Nakamba gets bench role for Luton Championship tie

Zimbabwe national captain Marvelous Nakamba has been named on the Luton Town bench for the first time in a league match since December.

He is a substitute for the Hatters for their EFL Championship tie against Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.

The match is already crucial for Rob Edwards’s side after they lost two of their first three matches since relegation from the top flight.

Nakamba started the midweek Carabao Cup match against the same side.

QPR won that match to eliminate the Hatters.
