Zimbabwe premium bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been listed among 590 cricketers who have made themselves available for the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year.
He is the only one from Zimbabwe who has been selected.
Muzarabani is hoping to become the fourth player from Zimbabwe to ever played in the IPL. Tatenda Taibu played for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2008, Ray Price playing for the same team in 2011.The disgraced Brendan Taylor was acquired by Sunrisers Hydrebard in 2015 but never played a single match.
The auction is set for 12 and 13 February 2022.
Meanwhile, Muzarabani is currently with the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). It is the second time he has been involved in that T20 league, after winning the title with the same Andy Flower-coached side in 2021.
