Munetsi scores on return from injury

Zimbabwe international midfielder Marshall Munetsi has scored for his Stade de Reims on his return from a muscle hip injury.

He scored the second in his side’s 3-0 win over Toulouse in a French Ligue 1 match on Sunday.

Junya Ito and Yunis Abdelhamid claimed the other two goals.

The goal means Munetsi has now netted five times this season, equaling his tally for last season. He also has two assists to his name.

The former Chicken Inn and Orlando Pirates star has seen his exploits court interest from Premier League sides, but Reims have showed resolve in keeping him. They even handed him a new contract last season.

The result sees the aptly-named Will Still’s side at 10th in the league.
