Set a target of 211, the Mutare-based side chased the score down aggressively, winning it by a six wickets via the DLS method. At 198 for the loss of four wickets after 37.3 overs when rain stopped play, they were way ahead of the par score.

Much of that came down to 126-run opening partnership between Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano and Loryn Phiri. The former made 85 and the latter 43.

The groundwork had been laid by Francesca Chipare who took five for 29 in the Rhinos innings. Phiri chipped in with two wickets for 41 as Rhinos were bowled out for 210 in 46.3 overs.

Josephine Nkomo, captaining Rhinos, top-scored for them with 85 and Mary-Anne Musonda 40.
