Morocco Pull Out of Hosting Next Year’s Afcon

Morocco has pulled out of hosting next year’s Afcon finals.

We did tell you that they were not happy about the whole ebola thing and wanted the dates moved. Caf said they were not having that and it kinda made sense that Morocco would then run off.

Morocco says it is not equipped to deal with such huge numbers of people, getting into its country and that makes sense.

Egypt is said to be on standby but with their lot doing some political thing every other day they might give it a miss. Otherwise it might be 2013 hosts South Africa.

The question does become…  can either one of the two standby countries deal with the large influx of people and the whole ebola screening thing?
