Mnangagwa names Warriors fundraising committee

Zimbabwe president Emmerson Mnangagwa has named the Warriors fundraising committee for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

It will be chaired by acting Youth, Sport, Art and Recreation minuister Kazembe Kazembe, deputised by energy tycoon Kudakwashe Tagwireyi.

Other notable members of a very powerful committee are Emmerson Mnangagwa Jr, NetOne’s Lazarus Muchenje, TelOne’s Chipo Mutasa and Pikirayi Deketeke from Zimpapers.

Zimbabwe kick off their Afcon campaign against hosts Egypt on 21 June. Also in the same group are DRC and Uganda.
