He smashed 82 off 61, including eight fours and five sixes.

Marumani shared two big significant partnerships. First, it was 70 for the second wicket with Dion Myers, who cracked 44 off 35. With captain Wesley Madhevere, they made 66 for the third, before Marumani was trapped leg before by Dan Birrell.

Madhevere and Brian Bennett then carried the side home, making 25 and 29, respectively.

Earlier, Tinashe Muchawaya continued to raise his stock as he took another four wickets after taking the same haul in Thursday’s match.

He took four for 33 from eight overs. Mgcini Dube helped himself to four for 14 off 5.3 overs.
