Zimbabwe Cricket has announced the appointment of former national team coach Stephen Mangongo as the new under-19 coach.
Interim coach Walter Chawaguta has been appointed as a national selector along with David Mutendera joining national coach Dav Whatmore, captain Elton Chigumbura and chairman Kenyon Ziehl.
Mangongo’s immediate task is to ready the boys for the under-19 world cup set for early next year in Bangladesh.
We are pretty glad to see Mangongo back in the fold on an effective level because we believe he has a lot to contribute to the local game.
