Macauley Bonne scores in Ipswich victory

Ipswich Town were 1-0 winners over Lincoln City in a League One match on Saturday, thanks to a Macauley Bonne goal.

The Zimbabwean found the back of the net in the first half with a controversial goal. Hayden Coulson found the forward with a brilliant cross on the half-hour mark. Bonne appeared to shove TJ Eyoma as he powered the ball with a header beyond Josh Griffiths. The goal was allowed to stand to the utter disgust of the hosts.

The goal comes after Bonne’s brace in a loss to Bolton last week, and against MK Dons in the match, to make four goals in three.

He is on loan at Ipswich from Queens Park Rangers.
