A FIFA appeals committee has rejected appeals by Uruguayan footballer Luis Suarez and his FA following a biting incident at the ongoing World Cup.
Suarez was on 25 June banned for four months from all footballing activity as well as a 9 game ban from playing for Uruguay after biting Italian footballer Giorgio Chiellini in a group stage match.
The decision now stands but is not final and binding as the player or the Uruguayan FA can appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
