Lazio Midfielder, 17, Accused Of Being 41

Cameroon youngster Joseph Minala, 17, is accused of being 41 years of age.

Lazio have come out in defence of the youngster after reports in an African sports title Senogo claimed he had confessed to being an age cheat.

Lazio even went as far as to publish documentation proving Minala was actually 17.

Age cheat allegations are common in Africa with players desperate for a big break in European leagues. The young man was even forced to quit social media over the abuse.
