Intriguing Logan Cup latest table and upcoming fixtures

It was moving day on match day four of the Logan Cup.

The Mountaineers going for a third title in a row wiped the floor with the Tuskers recording an innings and 113 run victory at Harare Sports Club.

That put pressure on log leaders Eagles who succumbed to a 262-run loss against the Rhinos at Old Hararians.

This leaves the Logan Cup in an intriguing situation, as Eagles have 26 points and Rhinos 24 points with one match to play, and Mountaineers have 25 points with two matches to play.

On Thursday, Eagles and Mountaineers meet at Old Hararians, while Rhinos play Tuskers at Harare Sports Club.

There is also one postponed match to be played next week, when Mountaineers will face Tuskers at Old Hararians, and this extra match perhaps makes Mountaineers favourites to retain the Logan Cup.

2018/19 Logan Cup points table

Eagles 5 2 1 2 26
Mountaineers 4 2 1 1 25
Rhinos 5 2 2 1 24
