Injury worry as Warriors land in Bloemfontein

Zimbabwe have a a major injury worry ahead of their Fifa World Cup 2026 match against South Africa on Tuesday.

The Warriors have landed in Bloemfontein, smarting from a 2-0 loss to Lesotho on Friday.

Interim Head Coach Jairos Tapera has an injury concern around Divine Lunga who is nursing an ankle injury.

More scans have been scheduled for Sunday, after those in Johannesburg on Saturday.

With Brandon Galloway already out, Zimbabwe are running short of options for the left-back position.

Meanwhile, Ngezi Platinum midfielder Richard Hachiro has been drafted into the squad.
