Injured Kadewere misses Lyon reunion

Zimbabwe forward Tino Kadewere is a doubt for his nation’s Afcon 2025 qualifying matches against Namibia after he was left out of his Nantes side’s 2-0 loss to Lyon on Sunday.

Kadewere missed out on a reunion against his former team.

Head coach Antoine Kombouaré had to do without him.

Now the headache is for the Zimbabwe gaffer Michael Nees who had named the lanky forward in his squad despite his having not kicked a ball in anger since 22 September 2024.
