Zimbabwe put on another limp batting performance again, worse than in the first match, to lose by 8 wickets to India in the Killer Cup series at Harare Sports Club.
Zimbabwe lost the toss again and were put in and struggled again early on.
After making a comeback that saw them reach 106-3 in the 25th (Vusi Sibanda claiming his 21st half century) Zimbabwe capitulated and lost their remaining wickets within 10 overs and with just 20 runs added to the score.
Out in 34.3 overs India came out to bat and bar a no-ball nicked by Karun Nair off Tendai Chatara the visitors were largely unbothered.
Centurion-on-debut Lokesh Rahul was removed for 39 and Karun Nair for 33 but the result was never at risk.
Zimbabwe go into a final dead rubber on Wednesday but at this stage it is pretty much impossible to see how they can avoid a dead rubber against a weakened India side.
