Disgraced former Zimbabwe international cricketer Brendan Taylor says he may have beaten a few drug tests.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, he said, “I might have beaten a few tests in the past two-and-a-half years but it got me when I was heading for destruction.”
He added that he failed a drug test the day after he played his last match for Zimbabwe in the Ireland ODI series last year.
The ICC are set to confirm a multi-year ban for the once revered idol after he claimed to have been blackmailed into accepting spot fixing after a cocaine party in India. Taylor says he did not follow through after getting USD15,000 and a being offered a further USD20,000 once the deed was done.

He was expected to be checked into a rehabilitation centre on Tuesday to clean himself up after admitting to substance abuse.
