Heath Streak lands IPL job

Zimbabwe national team coach Heath Streak will be the bowling coach for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League this coming season.

The coach returns to the IPL for another stint after two years as the bowling coach for the KKR.

Streak replaces Laxmipathy Balaji, who has now been roped in by Chennai Super Kings. Streak joins Simon Katich and Jacques Kallis in KKR’s coaching staff.

With international action across all countries on pause during the tournament it will be a great opportunity for the coach to remain active and boost his own coaching skills.

There are no Zimbabweans playing in the IPL this season which kicks off on 7 April 2018.
