Heath Streak Cricket Academy renamed

The Heath Streak Cricket Academy has been renamed, it has been confirmed.

An extra-ordinary board meeting was held on Friday which ratified the disgraced former Zimbabwe Captain and Coach’s resignation following his being found guilty by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in a corruption probe. Streak will leave all Academy-related operations and the Trust.

The institution will now be called the Zimbabwe Youth Cricket Academy.

The Board also affirmed its commitment to helping Streak, who was banned for eight years, to retake his good name.

Joseph Rego has been appointed president and chairman of the Trust.
