Harare’s Vigne Cup League 2 kicks off this weekend

League 2 of the Harare Metropolitan Cricket Association (HMCA) Vigne Cup League 2 kicks off this weekend with a full round of matches on Saturday and Sunday.

Teams will fight out for the sole ticket to the top league.

Relegated Royals will start their fight to return to the big time when they take on Rangers 2 at Old Georgians on Sunday. Manyame host Harare Sports Club, Rainbow 2 take on Spartans at Alex Sports Club, while Old Hararians 2 duke it out with White Rhinos at Old Harararians field 1.

But all action starts with Alex Sports Club hosting Uhuru on Saturday.

Matches start at 9.30 and entry is free.

The HMCA is affiliated to Zimbabwe Cricket.
