GoFundMe campaign started to fly Aluvah back home [link inside]

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to bring the adventurous Warriors Alvin Zhakata back home after he traveled from Cape to Cairo for the Africa Cup of Nations by road.

Alvin ‘Aluvah’ Zhakata

He missed the matches after the Ethiopia and Sudan parts of his journey got complicated but arrived just in time to catch some of the action

Now a campaign has been started by broadcaster Steve Vickers to raise GBP600 to fly Aluvah, as he is affectionately known, home and avoid a grueling return by road.

Said Vickers in the campaign:

After his historic Cape to Cairo AFCON road trip, Aluvah deserves to go back home in style. At the moment he has no funds to fly back home. I am with him in Cairo and will make sure that any funds donated will be used transparently.

Come on now., let’s do this
