Former Zimbabwe international goalkeeper George Chigova has died, it is being reported.

The SuperSport United goalie suffered a heart attack in July of this year, forcing him out of action until his death.

He had recently returned to training after time out. It is being reported that he collapsed.

Chigova, nicknamed “Zikeeper” for his commanding presence as Zimbabwe’s national team goalkeeper, played for Dynamos, Polokwane City, and SuperSport United.

He was 32.

His death comes a few days after former national team player and head coach Rahman Gumbo.
