Zimbabwe-linked pair Brendan Galloway and Tendayi Darikwa had mixed afternoon of football for their sides.
Romelu Lukaku scored a brace while Ross Barkley added a third for Everton over Southampton to give Galloway’s side massive victory over their English Premier League rivals.
Galloway had to come off after 88 minutes with an injury and was replaced by Tyias Browning. Galloway will hope this will not keep him out for long given the run he is set to get in the side following the injury to first choice left back Leighton Baines.

It is still a long season ahead but it is good to see the Zimbabwean youngsters stake a claim in their respective teams.
