Zifa President Felton Kamambo PIC: Zifa website

Former ZIFA president Felton Kamambo and co-accused members Philemon Machana, Stanley Chapeta, Joseph Mamutse, and Brighton Malandule have been acquitted of fraud charges.

The state failed to prove charges against them.

They had been accused of unlawfully using a ZIFA letterhead to other members.

The Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC) raised the charges against Kamambo and other members, suspending them from ZIFA.

The SRC action resulted in Zimbabwe’s suspension from the international community.
