The five players who came through the talent development exercise to feature in the Zim Afro T10 have been named.
These came after a stringent exercise with the league, partnered by host board Zimbabwe Cricket and Lahore Qalandars, which saw talent identification happen in Harare, Bulawayo and Kwekwe.
The five players will be assigned to each team and will feature in matches.
These are:
- Bulawayo Braves – Tanunurwa Makoni
- Cape Town Samp Army – Johnathan Campbell
- Durban Qalandars – Owen Muzondo
- Harare Hurricanes – Tinotenda Maposa
- Joburg Buffaloes – Matthew Campbell
In an interview on the Clubhouse End Podcast with Larry Kwririrayi, Zim Afro T10 Chairman Shajji Ul Mulk said that this talent development exercise would take place every year. He further added that success for the five above would see them picked up by some of the other T10 Franchise leagues across the world.
