Mountaineers Women 110 in 20 overs (Loryn Phiri 41, Pelagia Mujaji 34, Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano 19 ; Kellies Ndlovu 1-12, Precious Marange 1-30)

Alliance Health Eagles Women won by 7 wickets.

Alliance Health Eagles have retained the Women’s T20 Cup after beating Mountaineers by seven wickets in a final held at Harare Sports Club on Thursday.

Teenage sensations Kellies Ndlovu and Beloved Biza combined for a 91-run second wicket partnership in the chase to set up a comfortable win.

Ndlovu ended the match 46 unbeaten while 13-year-old Biza was good for her 30.

They needed to. Captain Modester Mupachikwa went out for 14 off the bowling of Loryn Phiri.

In the end they got to 111 for the loss of three wickets in 18.3 overs.

Earlier, Loryn Phiri top-scored for Mountaineers with 41 after they were put in.

Captain Pelagia Mujaji and Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano 19.

In the end Eagles continued their dominance over a Mountaineers side they have never lost a T20 match to, winning the title. In that they added it to do a domestic double after claiming the Fifty50 Challenge title earlier this March.
