Dynamos mourn ‘rare gem’ Simon Sachiti

Dynamos Football Club have released a press statement following the death of their former secretary-general.

In paying tribute, Dynamos said, “‘The late Sachiti was a rare gem in the star -studded generation of the 70s, a generation that turned Dynamos into an indomitable football juggernaut. He was a pleasant character who gave his all the Glamour Boys both as a player and administrator.”

The club said it was made even more painful with the recent passing of icons Misheck Chidzambwa and David Mandigora. it said this was happening at ‘a time when the Club is preparing to put up glitzy and memorable 60th anniversary celebrations in 2023’.

Sachiti died in Harare, on Saturday, after a short illness.
