Dominant Zimbabwe subdue Comoros

Zimbabwe’s defence of the Cosafa Cup got off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Comoros on Saturday.

Two first half goals did the trick as coach Sunday Chidzambwa extended his unbeaten run in the competition.

Evans Rusike opened the scoring in the first half with a header to put the champions ahead.

Khama Biliat added the second with a brilliant volley that curled in the bottom corner from an an angle from the inside foot.

Zimbabwe then dominated proceedings and were largely unbothered as they registered another win to make it to the semi-final.
