de Jongh remains committed to FC Platinum

FC Platinum head coach Hendrik Pieter de Jongh insists he is still the head coach of the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

He announced this on his Twitter account, dismissing reports he was about to jump ship.

de Jongh signed for the Zvishavane side in January moving from Highlanders.

He has only coached one match, winning the season curtain-raiser Castle Challenge Cup which his side won 2-0 over Highlanders. The government lockdown has seen the league start indefinitely suspended.
